Size chart (sample)

Find your size before you print

Pick the size by your body measurements, not by the size you buy in shops. Between two sizes? Each pattern shows how to blend.

How to measure

  1. Bust: around the fullest part, tape level.
  2. Waist: around the narrowest part, usually above the navel.
  3. Hip: around the fullest part of the seat.

The layers meant I printed only my two sizes and blended at the waist. The test square was spot on.

Help

PDF patterns, answered

Not sure which size or format to use? Email [email protected].

How do I print the pattern at home?

Print the A4 / Letter file at 100% (no scaling), measure the test square on page 1, then trim and tape the pages using the page map.

What is the A0 copy shop file?

A large-format file you send to a print shop. The pieces come whole on two or three sheets, so there is nothing to tape.

Can I print only my size?

Yes. The PDF has a layer per size: turn off the sizes you do not need in your PDF reader before printing.

Are seam allowances included?

Yes, 1.5 cm (⅝ in) unless the pattern page says otherwise (sample).

Can I sell what I sew?

With the small-batch selling licence, yes: finished garments, up to 50 pieces a year (sample terms).
