About us
Fountain pens, nibs and ink
A small shop for fountain pens and the things that go with them. Here is who we are and how we work.

Our story
A small desk for nibs and ink
We started swapping nibs and swabbing inks for friends at a kitchen table. The questions were always the same: which nib, which ink, which paper. So we built a shop around the answers.
We sell a short list of fountain pens, nib units, inks and paper, and we test every combination on our own desk before it goes in the guide.
- Plain advice on nib size and ink
- Inks swabbed on real paper (sample)
- A nib swap if the size is wrong (sample policy)

On the desk
Every pen is filled and tested before it ships
We dip-test each nib, write a few lines on our sample paper and flush the pen clean before it goes in the box.
- A short writing sample with each pen (sample)
- Nib unit swapped on request
- Packed in a padded pen sleeve

Pen care corner
Five minutes a month keeps the ink flowing
Ink dries in the feed if a pen sits unused. A quick flush with cool water keeps the line steady.

01
Empty the pen
Write the last ink out, or twist the converter or piston to push it back into the bottle.
02
Flush with water
Fill and empty the pen with cool, clean water until it runs clear.
03
Dry the nib
Wrap the nib in a soft cloth or paper towel and let it wick the water out.
04
Leave it overnight
Let the parts air-dry, nib down, before you fill with a new colour.
05
Cap it between uses
A capped pen does not dry out; store it flat or nib up.
06
Keep it from heat
Sun and hot cars can push ink out of the feed.
Care note (sample): use plain water first; follow each ink maker’s own advice for shimmer or permanent inks.
