Park session

Every board gets a session

Before a deck goes on the wall, someone from the shop rides it at the park down the road. If it does not pop, it does not go on sale.

Deck size guide

Which width is yours?

Width matters more than length. Narrow decks flip faster; wide decks feel steady on ramps and in bowls.

How decks are pressed

Seven plies, one press, a lot of sanding

Thin sheets of maple veneer are glued, stacked and pressed into shape. Then the deck is cut, drilled, sanded and sealed. The clip shows the sanding.

★★★★★

The 8.25 park deck has a nice deep concave. The shop set it up and I was riding the same afternoon.

Swapped to the soft wheels on my cruiser. Much quieter on the cracked path to work.

Questions

Before you roll

Not sure about a width or a wheel? Email [email protected] or call (555) 014-8821.

Which deck width should I choose?

Most riders start between 8.0″ and 8.25″. Go narrower for street and flip tricks, wider for ramps and bowls. The deck size guide and the board builder table show the details.

Deck or complete board?

A complete comes set up with trucks, wheels, bearings and grip tape: ready to ride. A deck on its own is for riders who want to pick every part.

Hard or soft wheels?

Hard wheels slide and grip well on smooth skateparks. Soft wheels roll over cracks and rough roads, so they suit cruisers.

Do you set up boards?

Yes. Completes leave the shop set up, and we fit grip tape on any deck for free (sample offer).

Do I need protective gear?
