Cocoa percentage
From creamy to intense
The percentage is how much of the bar comes from the cocoa bean (cocoa mass and cocoa butter). The rest is mostly sugar, and milk in a dark milk bar.
Creamy and sweet · Intense and dry

From bean to bar
Every step happens in our workshop
We sort and roast the beans, crack them, grind them on stone for days, then temper and mould each bar by hand. Watch the grind, then read the steps.

Tempering
Why a good bar snaps
We melt the chocolate, cool it on marble and warm it again a little. That sets the cocoa butter in neat crystals: a glossy bar with a clean snap.

The 70% has a red-fruit note I did not expect. We finished the bar in one evening.

I built a box of nine for my sister. Every bonbon had a little card, and the salted caramel went first.

Questions
Before you order
Not sure which bar to try? Email [email protected] or call (555) 014-6288.
What does the cocoa percentage mean?
It is how much of the bar comes from the cocoa bean: cocoa mass plus cocoa butter. A 70% bar is 70% cocoa and about 30% sugar. Higher percentages taste more intense and less sweet.
Where can I find allergen information?
On every product page under Additional information. In this sample store the allergen lists are placeholders, so always check the label on the wrapper.
How do you keep chocolate cool in the post?
From spring to autumn we pack orders with a cool pack and insulated liner and post them early in the week (sample policy).
How long does chocolate keep?
Bars keep for months in a cool, dry place away from strong smells. Bonbons are fresh, so eat them within about three weeks (sample guidance).
Do you take corporate orders?
Yes. Send us the number of boxes, your message and a delivery date and we will reply with a quote (sample service).
